Asian Bodywork and Yoga Therapy (ABYT) Practitioner Training

Healing is in our hands

if we touch mind, body, & Spirit.

combine ABYT & ATTAR

to be a Voice for The Lotus Way.

Dr. George

has taught ABYT for 20+ years.

Dr. G has over 20 years experience with this healing modality, and three decades as an educator. We can provide group trainings at schools (all healthcare programs), hospitals, churches, community centers, etc. Our primary locations for the in-person portions of these trainings are throughout the state of West Virginia, and the Western Slope of Colorado. We offer retreat-style trainings around the U.S.

Dr. G is also a Registered Auricular Acu-Technician (AAT) Trainer for the People’s Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA) . Combining ABYT with this protocol is profound. Both practices acknowledge the Spiritual nature of healing and honor the Spirit as integral to healing. This perspective aligns with The Lotus Way’s beliefs and missions. We train healthcare professionals and laypeople to offer these invaluable services to those who wish to support healing among their loved ones, as well as for professionals who wish to integrate these services into their practices. We believe everyone can benefit from going through these trainings, and receiving these therapies.

The ABYT course compliments our other foundational course in Auricular Therapy for Trauma and Addiction Recover (ATTAR). We encourage you to consider taking the ATTAR training as well if you would like additional therapy skills to use in one-on-one and group settings where you are supporting those healing from traumas and/or addictions.

If you are interested in providing these services within our 501C3 organization, completing these two courses are the first steps in ordination as a Voice for The Lotus Way.

Open to anyone.

Who is eligible to become an ABYT?

Everyone may use these skills in a non-professional capacity, such as with your family and friends.

Professionals need to check with your licensing body to assess your scope of practice and how you can (or cannot) apply skills learned in this course. Most therapists and teachers who do hands-on work will find many ways to incorporated these skills into your practices.

What does the ABYT certificate   process entail?

You will only need to attend the training and complete assigned homework in order to be able to apply for/receive TLW’s ABYT  certificate. With this, you can immediately begin to support your family and friends in a non-professional capacity &/or in professional settings once confirmed with your licensing board.

Average costs for this course in the US is $300-900 (depending on size of group and location).

Completion of ATTAR & ABYT courses are part of our ordination process for those wishing to become Voices for The Lotus Way. These practices acknowledge the Spiritual nature of healing.
